Kintera Adds PayPal to Nonprofit Service
Application service provider Kintera Inc., San Diego, is expected to announce today the addition of PayPal as a payment option for the online donation function of its product.Through this partnership, Kintera's nonprofit clients now will be able to collect donations through the online payment service provider PayPal in addition to credit card contributions.
To allow for accurate reporting of transaction types, Kintera built a back-end processing system that tracks PayPal donations as a separate kind of transaction than traditional credit card donations.
This new service is available to existing Kintera clients as a part of the full system or to other nonprofits as a separate application, the firm said. More information is available at www.kintera.com.
