Kimberly-Clark picks Tata Consultancy Services for IT infrastructure

Kimberly-Clark Corp. has signed a multi-year agreement to provide information technology infrastructure support to its operations in the United States, Europe, South America and the Asia-Pacific region with Tata Consultancy Services, a global IT services and consulting firm.

The partnership with TCS will help Dallas, TX-based Kimberly-Clark to derive more value out of its IT investments, allow it to streamline the way it does its business globally, and enable it to better direct its resources on innovation, brand-building and other capabilities to drive long-term growth.

Kimberly-Clark and its global brands are available to consumers in more than 150 countries. Its brands include Kleenex, Scott, Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex and Depend.

Services that TCS will provide Kimberly-Clark include service desk and data center operational support, computer security, SAP basis, data network, desktop, voice, messaging and videoconferencing.
