JVC partners with Bazaarvoice for user reviews

Consumer electronics company JVC Company of America has partnered with social commerce firm Bazaarvoice to add user reviews to its site.

With the new partnership, JVC.com will feature Bazaarvoice-enabled Ratings & Reviews, which will allow customers to read and write reviews of products.  JVC also plans to use user reviews as a guide to product design and development.

"Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews brings relevant user-generated content directly to our product pages, which allows our customers to hear from people just like them as they consider what to buy,” said Karl Bearnarth, SVP of marketing at JVC Company of America in a statement. “As a result, customers are happier with their purchases and make fewer calls to the customer support center.”

JVC will join other electronics retailers in adding reviews, including Amazon.com, B&H Photo who work with Power Reviews for its reviews technology, as well as Panasonic and HP, who both work with Bazaarvoice.
