*Juno, Britannica.com Team on Co-Branded Reference Content

Juno Online Services Inc. has teamed up with reference publisher Britannica.com to offer Britannica's research tools and content to Juno Online users, Juno said yesterday.

Britannica's products and services will be available on Juno Online's Reference channel.

Britannica.com will use a campaign of banner ads and pop-up advertisements on Juno to promote its tools and services. The company plans to market its multimedia CD-ROMs and DVDs, as well as subscriptions to BritannicaSchool.com, its online service for students and teachers.

"We're gaining a valuable and savvy new audience for our products and services, while Juno members will have access to the vast knowledge base of Britannica," said Jorge Cauz, Britannica.com's chief operating officer.

Britannica.com plans to market products such as its $69.95 Britannica 2001 Edition DVD on Juno. The disc includes the complete 2001 edition of the Britannica Encyclopedia and allows users to create customized charts and graphs.
