JoS. A. Bank's New Database Handles Multichannel Environment

JoS. A. Bank Clothiers Inc. announced yesterday that it has developed a real-time customer relationship database able to segment its retail, online and catalog businesses and manage loyalty and marketing campaigns.


"With the enhanced database, we will be able to tailor our marketing to the specific purchase behaviors of new and existing customers and present a marketing offer that meets the customers' needs and motivates a purchase," said R. Neal Black, executive vice president, chief merchandise and marketing officer at JoS. A. Bank, Hampstead, MD.


The new database uses Donnelley Marketing's MarketZone Platinum database marketing platform.
