Johnson Smith Co., Caugherty Have Fun Together

The Johnson Smith Co., Bradenton, FL, said yesterday that it has selected Caugherty Hahn Communications Inc. to conduct a public relations campaign for two of its catalogs.


Johnson Smith, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, sells a variety of products through five catalogs: The Lighter Side, Things You Never Knew Existed, Betty's Attic, Clever Gear & Other Smart Innovations and Full of Life.


The PR campaign, which will launch this fall, will focus on The Lighter Side of Things, which offers more than 500 lighthearted gifts and nostalgic collectible merchandise, and Things You Never Knew Existed, which offers novelty items and gag gifts. The title of the campaign is "The Art of Having Fun."
