Johnson & Quin acquires certain assets of Staples' direct mail division InteliMail

Direct mail production and printing services provider Johnson & Quin has acquired certain assets of Staples Print Solutions' direct mail division InteliMail.

The deal brings Johnson & Quin customers in the financial services, retail and government arenas as well as additional bindery, lettershop and affixing capabilities.

Johnson & Quin will be consolidating the InteliMail facility into its operation in Niles, IL. The company expects some additional hiring as a result of the acquisition.

“This is a great opportunity to become more efficient and use our resources carefully in a challenging environment,” said David Henkel, president at Johnson & Quin. The acquisition “will bring in considerable additional sales volume to a facility that is already utilized quite well, enabling us to get the most out of our resources,” he added.
