J.C. Penney's CEO to keynote Shop.org in February

Shop.org invites Myron E. Ullman III, chairman and CEO of J.C. Penney Company Inc., as a keynote speaker at next year's summit.

Mr. Ullman's experience in retail includes upper-level management positions with LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, DFS Group Limited, Macy's and JCPenney, Plano, TX.

He also serves on many boards of directors, including Starbucks Coffee Company, the National Retail Federation, the UCSF Medical Center Executive Board in San Francisco and Mercy Ships International.

For Washington, DC-based Shop.org this year's theme, which has been added to all sessions, keynotes and roundtables, is IT. This theme is added to the basic goal of Shop.org, which is to discuss the future of online marketing and merchandising and the tools necessary to execute these ideas.

The event is being held Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, 2007, at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, and more than 1,000 online executives are expected to attend.
