J. Jill to Open 25 Stores

The J. Jill Group is moving forward with plans to open 25 stores this year including the opening of a third retail store in Massachusetts scheduled for Thursday.


The new 5,100-square-feet store represents the 23rd retail location for the company. It will carry relaxed career and casual merchandise that can also be found in the J. Jill catalog and on its Web site, www.jjill.com.


The J. Jill Group is a retailer of women's apparel, accessories and footwear. The company currently markets its products through its specialty retail stores, catalogs, and e-commerce website. J. Jill targets affluent women age 35 and older.
