Island Pacific Partners, RBS Lynk Team on Payment Solution

Multichannel retail software provider Island Pacific Inc. partnered with electronic payment processing services firm Royal Bank of Scotland Lynk to offer integrated payment processing for its newly formed Retail Pro Payment Solutions division.

Island Pacific, Irvine, CA, entered the three-year agreement with RBS Lynk, Atlanta, to let its Retail Pro offer a more advanced embedded payment solution.

Retail Pro is retail business management software that is made up of POS and store operations, merchandising, planning, business intelligence and customer retention management. The new agreement lets Retail Pro support credit, debit, check, gift and loyalty.

This new service will be available this fall for users of both Retail Pro 8-series and 9-series versions of the company's software.
