IRT Call Center Training Facility Opens

Teleservices provider IRT has constructed a training facility for its call center agents, the company said yesterday.

The 6,000-square-foot facility is on IRT's Fort Lauderdale, FL, corporate campus, which includes 40,000 square feet of building space. The training facility includes a recruiting office with testing stations for job applicants and three classrooms with a capacity of 82 trainees, as well as conference and interview rooms and an employee lounge.

A company executive said IRT created the training facility in response to business growth and staffing and training needs.

IRT employs 400 people and operates a call center on its corporate campus. It is involved in both inbound and outbound teleservices and customer relationship management. Its clients include American Express, Diners Club, DirecTV, LensCrafters, Motorola and Sears.
