IQ.com, Yclip Join on Loyalty Program

IQ.com, Saratoga, CA, said yesterday that it formed a partnership with Yclip to help broaden iQ.com's Open Loyalty Platform to include offline redemption.

Yclip, Austin, TX, is an online incentives company. Its technology allows merchants to acquire new customers, reward loyal ones, target customers with specific incentives and track online marketing efforts. IQ will broaden its solutions through Yclip's capability to credit consumers' offline purchases with electronic coupons earned online.

Under the agreement, IQ will be able to create and distribute rebates that can be redeemed offline and credited automatically to a consumer's credit card or bank card statement. Integration into the Open Loyalty Platform allows merchants to award Yclip rebates for completing any iQOffer. E-markers can create a pull-through incentive for referring a friend, completing a survey or subscribing to an e-mail newsletter among others.
