Interspot Inc. Buys Interactive TV Company

Interspot Inc., Boston, an interactive TV commercial company, said Friday that it acquired interactive television programming company BMS Inc., Portland, OR. Interspot paid $1 million-plus cash and equity exchange for the company. BMS will become known as broadcastmarketing.com.


Broadcastmarketing.com is developing an interactive TV prototype that is expected to be presented to a major broadcaster before the end of March.


The acquisition will allow Interspot to leverage the BMS' expertise to provide consulting and production to Fortune 100 companies seeking to participate with the interactive television convergence space.
