Interactive Shops to Use GoldPocket for I-TV Apps

Tribal DDB Worldwide, Agency.com and Beyond Z Interactive Media have allied with GoldPocket Interactive Inc. to create interactive television programming.


The interactive agencies will use GoldPocket's proprietary EM Composer event creation software to develop interactive content for GoldPocket's EventMatrix TV system.


"What it allows us to do is identify on-air programming and synchronize a telecast with Web site content," said Steven Marrs, president and chief operating officer of North America at Tribal DDB Worldwide.


"In effect, that allows us to target the 'tele-Weber' with marketing programs," he said. "This gives us an enhanced capability with interactivity to tie in the two platforms -- the Internet and TV."
