Insight Customizes Bank Promotions
Target Marketing gives a bank's Web server the ability to review customer account information in real time and apply a rules-based program to choose a targeted message that can appear in several places on a Web page being downloaded. It tracks the number of times a customer sees a message and presents alternate messages to avoid overexposure.
ESL Federal Credit Union, Rochester, NY, is using the product to promote online billing, Internet access and loan refinancing and communicate bank and community information to its online customers. The credit union also plans to link Target Marketing with Digital Insight's online chat capability to allow pre-approved customers to receive immediate approvals on loan applications.
Digital Insight hosts online banking services and Web pages for more than 170 banks and credit unions.
