Inserts Are Ready for Back to School

Media Horizons Management and Target Marketing Consulting each are managing insert programs aimed at students in time for the return to classes.

With its College Student Shoppers package insert program, Target Market Consulting, Fort Worth, TX, will reach 10 million college students this fall. Inserts go into shopping bags used in bookstores. Selects for the program include school name, school type (two- or four-year), enrollment size and geographic location.

Elementary and secondary school publisher Weekly Reader Corp., a unit of WRC Media Inc., recently awarded management of its teacher and student ride-along programs to Media Horizons Management, Norwalk, CT.

Weekly Reader, Stamford, CT, has products that reach 90 percent of U.S. school districts. The company publishes 16 classroom magazines and other educational supplemental materials.

The Student Ride-Along program mails 90 million packages annually while the Teacher Ride-Along mails nearly 3 million. The student program lets advertisers select by grade level and geography.
