InPhonic Will Open Wireless Store on Sallie Mae Site
Wireless solutions provider InPhonic will offer wireless phones and service plans to the 7 million customers of Sallie Mae, InPhonic said Monday. Sallie Mae is a provider of education funding.InPhonic will operate an online wireless store featured on Sallie Mae's shopping and personal finance site, Success by Sallie Mae. According to the two companies, the online store will let Sallie Mae customers research and buy mobile phones and service plans from leading manufacturers and wireless carriers.
Site visitors will be offered a free Internet-ready phone after choosing a calling plan tailored to their geographic location and anticipated calling patterns.
