Inovis Completes QRS Buy

Inovis completed its acquisition of QRS Corp., the Alpharetta, GA, company said this week. QRS common stock was converted in the deal.


Inovis offers business-to-business software and services to help companies speed transaction flows, synchronize product information and improve supply chain processes. QRS provides e-commerce and supply chain management solutions for the retail industry. The combined company will operate under the Inovis name.


"This acquisition strengthens Inovis' leadership in the retail industry and makes Inovis one of the world's largest providers of BTB integration technology," Jim Chaper, chairman/CEO of Inovis, said in a statement.


The company will seek to facilitate trading partner communication and collaboration via software, managed services, a value-added network, an electronic catalog, professional services and secure Internet-based transactions. Inovis has more than 20,000 customers.
