Inktel buys Technion call center assets

Inktel Direct, an outsourced provider of direct marketing services, has signed a definitive agreement to buy the assets of Technion Communications, a Fort Lauderdale, FL-based inbound and outbound call center firm.

The deal will lead to Inktel's operation of a 200-seat customer service call center in Tamarac, FL. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

This acquisition is designed to help Inktel, Miami, grow its telemarketing business and expand its presence in South Florida. It will particularly help with the company's customer loyalty and retention programs.

Technion's Tamarac call center will be fully integrated with Inktel's Miami Lakes call center and the Chicago fulfillment and distribution center.
