InfoUSA Updates Database Tool

InfoUSA yesterday said it would release PowerFinder version 2, an update of its database of 115 million businesses and consumer residences, in mid-December.

The new version will be available on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM.

The database contains information such as name or business name, full address, telephone number, fax number, sales volume, employee size, median household income and median home value. Users can search by name, geographic location, area code, standard industry code and business or residential data.

According to infoUSA, PowerFinder is recommended for professionals requiring fast search capabilities, such as collection agents and private investigators. It can be used in place of directory assistance.

PowerFinder will be available at retail stores across the United States including Staples, Fry's and Micro Center, and via subscription directly from infoUSA, Omaha, NE.

The price will be $69.99.
