InfoUSA to Sell Credit Ratings CD-ROMs

InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, said that it will immediately start selling its Business Credit Ratings CD-ROM products at 413 Best Buy retail stores nationwide.


The CD-ROM contains credit ratings on 14 million businesses and has a retail price of $9.95. Aside from credit rating, the product also includes company name, full address, phone number and fax number for each business listed.


An embedded link to buy full business credit reports online for $3 each will also be available on the CD-ROM. Included in the full business credit reports are key executive names, years in business, Web site address, SIC codes, number of employees, sales volume, names of nearby competitors, pictures of the business, and public record information such as liens, judgments and lawsuits, as well as significant headlines.


Buyers of the CD-ROM will also be offered an annual subscription for $39 to receive quarterly updated Business Credit Rating CD-ROMs.
