InfoUSA to Add UCC Filings to Products
InfoUSA, Omaha, NE said Friday that it will compile a database of business UCC filings to be used in several of its products. One of the first products to incorporate the information will be Credit.net, infoUSA's online source for business credit reports targeting small business owners.Other products that will get UCC information added include Business Profiles, List Selection, List Append, File Installations and Reference Products.
Typical data on a UCC filing are debtor name and address, secured party name and address, filing date, filing number, filing type, collateral pledged, though this information varies by state.
UCC filings are done by banks, leasing companies and other companies who want to establish title to property used as collateral on loans.
