InfoUSA to Add Business Data Points

InfoUSA, Omaha, NE said yesterday that it will expand its business database starting next year to include additional data points.


The enhancements will include data such as hours of operation, credit cards accepted, ad size in yellow page directory, UDAC code (standard industry ad size code), ad spending, Web site URLs and e-mail addresses. The information will be compiled from hundreds of sources including yellow pages directories and included in several infoUSA products.


The data also will allow directory assistance providers to further assist consumers with more details on listings, according to infoUSA.


The infoUSA business database has information on 14 million U.S. businesses.
