infoUSA Re-Engineers Merge-Purge System

Business and consumer information provider infoUSA, Omaha, NE, announced that one of its companies, Database America, has re-engineered its merge-purge system to allow users to update files over the Internet. The new service is called info-Connect.


New features of the service include: advances in real-time matching logic capabilities; ability to accept feeds from original point-of-sale systems such as call centers and the Internet; state-of-the-art decision logic in finding and extracting a match; and the ability to obtain full information about a customer when they are contacting a business via e-commerce, call center or through other contact management systems.
