InfoUSA announced the availability yesterday of PeopleProfileUSA, its online database of 200 million individual consumers and 104 million U.S. households.

By logging on to www.PeopleProfileUSA.com, users can get individual profiles on consumers by name. Profiles consist of compiled public information from telephone directories, voter records and real estate deeds as well as self-reported data from surveys and mail-order purchases.

A typical profile will list information such as name, address, telephone number, family members, homeowner and hobbies.

InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, suggests the data as a reference and due diligence tool for industries such as real estate, banking and financial services. The company also lauds it for use by government and law enforcement agencies.

InfoUSA said it verifies the data for quality and accuracy.
