Database firm InfoUSA now offers a database of business Uniform Commercial Code filings to be used in a variety of its products including Credit.net.

Credit.net, Omaha, NB-based infoUSA's  source of unlimited business and consumer credit reports, incorporates UCC filings as an element on their business profile.

Typically, data elements available on a UCC filing are debtor name and address, secured party name and address, filing date, filing number, filing type, collateral pledged (varies significantly by state in terms of availability and quality of description). UCC filings are done by banks, leasing companies and other companies who want to establish title to property used as collateral on loans.
