InfoUSA Licenses Data to InfoSpace

InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, said yesterday that it agreed to license its business database to InfoSpace, a mobile entertainment, online directory assistance and private-label search company.

The data will be available through the InfoSpace yellow pages and local search services.

InfoUSA's business-to-business database contains compiled and verified information on 14 million U.S. companies including location, company size, sales volume, executive data and other segments.

"We are pleased to be partnering with a company that reaches millions of consumers on a daily basis," infoUSA chairman/CEO Vin Gupta said. "InfoUSA continuously adds more content and enhanced data elements to its directory assistance platform to enrich the value of its information to Internet yellow pages and local search licensees and users."
