InfoUSA launches b-to-b database

Yesterday, InfoUSA's services group launched a new business-to-business co-op database at the DMA 07 Conference and Exhibition called LexBase.
Boasting 75 million unduplicated names from more than 1,800 b-to-b mailing lists, LexBase offers customers the ability to perform multichannel campaigns by providing phone numbers in addition to 15 million e-mail addresses.
"Many of our clients are looking to do multichannel campaigns these days," said Stevan Roberts, administrator for Lexbase. For example, b-to-b catalogers are sending out e-mails prior to or after dropping a catalog, getting better results than when they mail the catalog by itself.
LexBase was in development for more than a year. It represents a multimillion dollar investment on behalf of InfoUSA's services group, which is comprised of Edith Roman, Walter Karl and Donnelly Marketing.
