InfoUSA Expands Indian Operations, Adds Search Feature

InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, said yesterday that it will expand its compilation operations in India and launch Smart Search, an advanced search tool for its business-to-business data.

The company said it will hire 40 business editors to gather data including business descriptions, executive biographies and other information from business Web sites to be added to infoUSA databases.

As a result of the newly added data, infoUSA will offer Smart Search, a BTB database tool that will let users get more specific in their searches. The enhanced content will be included in infoUSA products such as SalesGenie.com, credit.net, idEXEC.com and OneSource.com.
