InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, said yesterday that its DQI3 consumer database was found to be the overall leader in the industry among its main competitors based on the comprehensiveness and accuracy of its data, according to a blind analysis the company commissioned from accounting firm Arthur Andersen.

"For a long time infoUSA has had the premier business database, and this study confirms that we have the leading proprietary consumer database as well," Vin Gupta, chairman/CEO of infoUSA, said in a statement.

In the independent study, Arthur Andersen compared the consumer data of infoUSA, Acxiom, Equifax and Experian based on the quality and quantity of each company's data.
