InfoUSA completes acquisition of Opinion Research Corp.

Proprietary business and consumer databases provider infoUSA has completed its previously announced acquisition of Opinion Research Corp.

Shareholders approved the sale of the company at a meeting held Dec. 4.

Opinion Research Corp. will remain headquartered in Princeton, NJ, and will continue to operate independently as part of infoUSA.

Vin Gupta, founder and chairman/CEO of Omaha, NE-based infoUSA said in a statement that the completion of this transaction is an important step forward in the company's strategic growth plan and will create value for all infoUSA shareholders.
