Inforte Launches New Offerings

Customer intelligence consultancy Inforte Corp. formally debuted Managed Analytics, offerings designed to help increase the competitive strength of its client base by enabling fact-based decision-making through data-driven insights.

The Chicago company also launched two additional offerings, Customer Value Analytics and Provansis LLC, a joint venture targeting the insurance and healthcare industries.

Customer Value Analytics combines advisory services, advanced quantitative analysis, proprietary algorithms and methods and actionable strategic frameworks to measure marketing program effectiveness in real-time.

By using the insights garnered from this solution, marketers can offer recommendations that can be applied directly to a corporation's marketing strategy or to an agency's client roster, Inforte said.

Provansis, a joint venture with Provansis LLC, Irvine, CA, will commercialize new offerings to the insurance and healthcare industries that decrease costs while increasing the quality of underwriting certain insurance products.

It will also help healthcare organizations improve care and protect against malpractice and fraud, according to Inforte.

The solutions use electronic prescription history data and proprietary statistical algorithms to assess risk and guide pricing and other decision-making.

Inforte also announced that it has entered into a merger agreement to acquire GTS Consulting Inc., a provider of managed marketing analytics services.

This acquisition is meant to complement Inforte's existing analytics and customer intelligence capabilities with the combined entity offering data-driven solutions to clients across industries.

Founded four years ago, GTS specializes in marketing mix modeling, customer transaction analysis, direct marketing, database management and database hosting for large companies.

As part of the merger, Glenn Stoops, founder and former CEO of GTS Consulting, is now senior vice president of managed analytics at Inforte, reporting directly to Inforte CEO Dave Sutton.

GTS will be a new service line of Inforte, complementing three other service lines of business intelligence, customer management and strategy.
