Infogain to Debut New MobileAccess Service
Infogain said the service allows users to generate a customer quote online and in real time while at the customer's site. By providing field professionals with wireless-enabling customer support applications, they will no longer be dependent upon co-workers to research the information and call them back with needed data. Instead the jobs can automatically be routed and critical information directly secured from personal digital assistants pagers or cellular phones.
The MobileAccess service is built on top of the company's InfoMobile Framework. As a result, users will have the ability to view any enterprise application from the same user interface. Infogain said the service is so flexible that users can upgrade, modify or change sales and support applications without a major overhaul of the MobileAccess implementation.
The cost and implementation time will vary depending on the specific requirements of each individual customer and the number of applications to be wireless-enabled.
