Influent Launches Call Center in Philippines
The call center will offer voice support in multiple languages, including English and the Philippine language of Tagalog, as well as secondary support for Japanese, Malay, Spanish and Chinese. Influent, Dublin, OH, chose the location in part because the Philippines is known for Americanized culture and proficiency in multiple languages.
Influent, formerly Interactive Teleservices Corp., plans to open another center in Panama in 2004 that will offer bilingual voice support and employ 500 agents. The company also operates call centers in Ohio, Kentucky, Nebraska and Wyoming.
