Inbound Service Firm Opens Multilingual Call Center in Mexico

Network Operator Services, Longview, TX, opened an inbound call center yesterday in Monterrey, Mexico, a city chosen for its multilingual population.

The company has hired 120 agents for the call center and will add another 80 agents by June. Network Operator Services, which provides customer assistance for the hospitality and telecommunications industries, estimated that the center can handle up to 20,000 inbound calls per day.

Monterrey was picked as the call center's location because its population includes a high percentage of workers who speak English, Spanish, German and Japanese, the company said. However, the center will handle primarily Spanish-language calls originating from North America, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.

Network Operator Services has an additional call center in Longview.
