In The Swim Buys Poolside Express
In The Swim, a direct marketer of pool supplies and equipment to residential customers, announced the acquisition yesterday of all the assets of Montgomery, IL-based Poolside Express Inc.The acquisition will let In The Swim market its product line and service to Poolside customers. Terms were not disclosed.
Based in West Chicago, IL, In The Swim is majority-owned by Svoboda, Collins LLC, a $150 million private equity fund in Chicago. Besides a 70,000-square-foot headquarters and warehouse, it also has four satellite distribution centers nationwide.
