ImageX.com Says Barron's Cash Report False

Online print production company ImageX.com last month said that an article in the March 20 issue of biweekly financial paper Barron's erroneously represented its cash position.

ImageX.com contacted Barron's, and the New York-based publication corrected the story in an online story.

The article assessed various cash positions of more than 200 Internet companies but did not include funds raised by ImageX.com during February or the Bellevue, WA-based firm's full execution of the underwriters' over-allotment in March, which raised $102.4 million.

ImageX.com said that Barron's used old data that indicated a cash position of only $18.3 million.
