**IKEA Site Compromises Privacy
Swedish furniture company, IKEA, reportedly closed down the catalog request portion of its U.S. Web site this week after requestors' personal information was discovered unprotected on the site.According to reports, the error was uncovered by a customer who was trying to request a catalog at the site.
In a statement, an IKEA spokesman said that the company is currently looking into the situation and will not make the catalog request option available on its site until it has been resolved.
