ICT Group's Revenue, Income Rise

Teleservices provider ICT Group's revenue rose 29 percent and its income increased 43 percent in the second quarter of 2002, the Newtown, PA, company said in its financial report released yesterday.


Revenue was $74.9 million, up from $58 million in the same period in 2001, ICT Group said. Net income for the quarter increased to $3.2 million from $2.3 million.


ICT Group said its CRM sector fueled the revenue and income growth. Revenue generated by this sector of the company in second-quarter 2002 increased 65 percent over the same period last year.


Revenue from financial services and healthcare clients had the strongest growth in the quarter, ICT Group said. International contact center revenue also grew, representing 42 percent of all CRM revenue in second-quarter 2002 compared with 38 percent in the same period of 2001.


The company projected third-quarter 2002 revenue of $72 million to $74 million. Full-year 2002 revenue will be $295 million to $300 million, ICT Group estimated.
