ICT Group Opens Call Center, Expands Virgin Mobile Contract

ICT Group will open a 200-seat call center to accommodate an expanded three-year contract to provide inbound customer care for Virgin Mobile, the teleservices provider said yesterday.

The expansion will roughly triple the size of the program, Newtown, PA-based ICT Group said. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

The facility will be in Colorado Springs, CO. The call center is the second facility operated by ICT Group exclusively in support of Virgin Mobile.

Scheduled to open in May, the center will assist in the delivery of round-the-clock inbound support for Virgin Mobile customers, including sales and phone activation. Virgin Mobile, a joint venture between Virgin Group and Sprint, targets wireless phone service to the youth market.
