I3 Mobile, Stamford CT, yesterday unveiled its Advanced Data Mining Advertising, Tagging and Transaction system, which delivers targeted, permission-based advertising to mobile phones, pagers, personal digital assistants and other wireless systems.

The system integrates user data, including demographic information and geographic location, with the user's personalized content preferences to deliver targeted advertising messages. For example, the system can send an offer for a free ski lesson with the purchase of a lift ticket to consumers receiving ski condition reports for southern Vermont on Fridays.

Offers can be further targeted to consumers in a specific market or based on specific demographic criteria.
