HVDMA to Honor RMI's Stein
The Hudson Valley Direct Marketing Association will honor Martin A. Stein, president of RMI Direct Marketing Inc., with its 2005 Founders Award next month, the association said yesterday.The award will be part of the HVDMA's annual holiday luncheon Dec. 2 at Fairview Country Club, Greenwich, CT.
Stein founded list company RMI Direct Marketing, Danbury, CT, in 1985 with John Forte and became sole owner in 1992. Prior to forming RMI, Stein spent a few years at The Walter Karl Companies. He started as an assistant list broker and moved up to account executive and then vice president of brokerage.
RMI has more than 350 list brokerage and management clients including The American Institute for Cancer Research, Guideposts Associates, Consumers Union, Center for Science in the Public Interest, Easter Seals, Gardens Alive, The National Arbor Day Foundation, Bookspan and Reader's Digest.
