HSN Works With UPS to Revamp Fulfillment
TV shopping company HSN, St. Petersburg, FL, said that it entered into a multiyear delivery agreement yesterday with United Parcel Service to streamline and re-engineer its fulfillment and supply-chain operations.HSN also is using UPS' Supply Chain Solutions, which provides supply-chain planning, freight transportation and brokerage services for ocean, air and ground shipments of inventory from around the world.
UPS Supply Chain Solutions has re-engineered HSN's supply chain by reconfiguring inbound and outbound logistics and tying together four distribution centers. UPS Supply Chain Solutions also is fulfilling orders for products at two facilities in California and New Jersey.
