HRPC Brings Walgreen Into its Distribution Network

Health Resource Publishing Co., St. Louis, late last week said that Walgreen Co. had signed on as part of its targeted pharmacy-coupon distribution system. HRPC, which is a division of Catalina Marketing Corp., said it expected to roll out the system to some 2,500 of Walgreen's 2,689 stores during the multi-year agreement.


By signing on Walgreen, which is the largest drugstore chain in the country in terms of prescription volume, HRPC expects to generate increased revenues from advertisers who pay to have their messages distributed with other educational materials that accompany consumer prescriptions.
