H&R Block to Offer MSN Internet Service

H&R Block began offering its customers cash rebates from Internet services firm MSN after the two companies recently signed an agreement.


A limited number of MSN installation CDs will be distributed to H&R Block clients throughout the tax services firm's 10,000 worldwide offices.


Clients who subscribe for three years of MSN's standard access plan -- $21.95 per month -- will qualify for a $300 mail-in rebate. One- and two-year agreements are available with $75 and $150 rebates.


H&R Block, Kansas City, MO, is a division of Block Financial Corp. MSN is a division of Microsoft Corp., Seattle. Financial terms of the agreement were not announced.
