Using SEM in tandem with other DM efforts can help drive sales

The John Caples International Awards, unique for its celebration of creativity in direct and digital marketing, has named Michael Mendenhall, SVP and CMO of HP, general chair for its 32nd annual awards show.

Mendenhall has a history of steering the marketing programs of major brands. Prior to his work at HP, he was EVP of marketing and communications for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Mendenhall has also overseen work that has won prestigious awards, including an Emmy and the 2000 and 2001 Silver Lions Best Corporate Campaign Award at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes, France.

In his role as Caples general chair, Mendenhall will welcome more than 80 agency creative directors to New York next month to judge the 32nd round of Caples.
