HouseholdHoldDirect Announces Marketing Campaign

HouseHoldDirect.com, a member-based consumer-buying network, said that it will launch an Internet marketing campaign today to increase public awareness of its corporate business plan and membership benefits.

The campaign will include e-mail, a Web component and direct mail.

HouseHoldDirect, New York, plans to deliver some 2.5 million e-mails to member consumers, informing them about the ability to receive basic membership rates for one year at $49.95. The promotion promises to waive monthly recurring fees of $9.95 for the first year of membership, according to a statement.

HouseHoldDirect representatives also said the company plans to test a direct mail piece beginning Dec. 1. The test campaign, which would run about a month, is scheduled to go out to 25,000 people.
