Hosted Software Provider Debuts New Version

Global Market Insite Inc., a provider of hosted software for Internet-based market research, introduced the Net-MR 5.0 version.

The new version includes improvements to Net-Panel and Net-CATI, and the addition of a new survey-authoring application called Design Studio. GMI clients are using the upgrade, including JupiterResearch, Forrester Research and IDC.

"The biggest benefit that we have is that it's a scalable application," said Lowell Ricklefs, vice president of global sales at GMI, Mercer Island, WA. "It's got the horsepower for a very large client, and we can scale it for a small company."

Market researchers can use Net-MR 5.0 to survey global panels and process questionnaires for data collection via the Internet, computer-assisted telephone and computer-assisted personal interviewing.
