Hoovers Kicks Off E-Commerce Program

Business information provider Hoover's Online (www.hoovers.com), Austin, TX, has launched a new e-commerce Merchants Program. The program will connect participating Merchant Partners to its audience through a number of customized e-commerce solutions.


Those solutions include inclusion in The Store at Hoovers Online (www.hoovers.com/hoov/store/storefront.html) as well as combinations of store placement, special promotion throughout the site and integration within "contextually relevant editorial." Among those currently taking part in the program are Amazon.com, Multex, WinStar Telebase, infoUSA and Bruce Judson. Future e-commerce categories will include telecommunications, travel, continuing professional education, corporate gifts, computer hardware and software, office supplies and brokerage services.
