Home Trends to Leave Home
Catalog company Home Trends, Rochester, NY, will receive a package of tax rebates for its move to a former printing plant in Chili, NY, according to reports.The Industrial Development Agency in Monroe County (NY) approved a package of tax abatements and incentives this week worth $140,000 in connection with the company's relocation plan.
Home Trends expects to buy and renovate the 243,000-square-foot facility for $4.5 million. The move is planned for May. Home Trends, which employs 140 people, has said the move will result in 97 new jobs over three years.
Home Trends mails 50 million catalogs annually under three titles: Home Trends; Picket Fences; and Back-to-Basics.
